Ductile Iron

The ductile iron pipes and fittings sold by APS Pipes are manufactured according to the following standards:

• EN545 – Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for water pipelines
• EN598 – Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for sewerage applications
• ISO 2531 – Ductile iron pipes, fittings and their joints

The standards applicable in Romania are the European EN standards, last edition, namely: SR EN545:2010 si SR EN598:2010

The ductile iron pipes are made through centrifugation, in a wide range of sizes, from DN80 to DN2000, with a length of 6m

Material properties:

• Minimum tensile strength - 420MPa
• Minimum elongation - 10% for DN80-1000, 7% for DN1100-2200
